Learn and practice healthy ways to experience nature and wildlife with your littles in the park.

This program will cover safe play in nature including some basic identification skills for adults and tactile learning for children. Get comfortable experiencing nature using your senses under the guidance of a ranger.  Discover helpful apps and activities to keep you and your littles engaged in nature.  Your family may even make friends with other parents and their littles!  Start your outdoor adventure at Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park.

• Ages: 2 months to 5 years and their parents/guardians
• Bring:  Water, and weather appropriate clothing
• Meet: Park Headquarters, Tram Turnaround
• Registration:  No Reservations Required
• Cost: Entry fee is $5 for ages 13 & older and FREE 12 & under (Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass.)
